RE: PLANNED DISRUPTION OF WATER SERVICE
The Horseshoe Drive, Corral Drive, Winchester Court mainline replacement projects (209-01-09 & 209-02-10) have been progressing on schedule and are currently nearing completion. Beginning Tuesday, January 12, 2010, we plan to begin tying in the newly installed facilities to the existing system. This process will involve the need to shutdown water flow through the existing pipeline while changing over to the new pipeline. Customer service lines will also be changed during this time. Because of the extent of work involved in connecting the new facilities, the work will take several days to complete. It is anticipated that all tie-ins will be completed by January 26, 2010.
The shutdown of the system and tie in of new facilities is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 8:00am. Not all customers will be affected each day that tie in work is performed. Many customers will likely not notice service disruptions. Because of the size of the area being worked on it is not possible to accurately predict which customers will be affected on which day. Therefore, residents of the noted streets should plan accordingly for the possibility of disrupted water service. Each day every effort will be made to return water service to the affected customers by 5:00pm. Disruption can include complete loss of water service, reduced or low pressure and/or intermittent disruption.
The Yosemite Spring Park Utility Company would like to apologize for the inconvenience that this service disruption will cause. We hope that you are as excited about this new pipeline project as we are and we ask that you please bear with us as this project nears completion.
