On May 8, 2008 the Yosemite Spring Park Utility Company will conduct a distribution system flushing in the North Dome area between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm.

This will only affect residential services on North Dome Dr. and Ct., Sentinel Dr. and Ct., Wild Berry Ct, Blue Jay Ct., Blue Heron Way, Dove Ct, Quail Ct., Lookout Ct. and Tioga Dr.

We are performing this flushing to remove iron and manganese sediment

(minerals) from the pipelines resulting in improved water clarity.

During this event, you may experience discolored water, low water pressure and/or no water pressure. Please refrain from using your water as much as possible during the noted times on this day. Doing so will help to reduce the chance of pulling discolored water into your home.

Please do not run your hot water during 8am-5pm on May 8; doing so may result in mineral sediments pulled into your hot water heater.

If you do experience discolored water, please stop running your water immediately and contact the office so that we can better assist you.

Please note that during this operation large volumes of water will be released to the asphalt road surface. Please use caution if you must drive through our work zone.
